Why Apply Cambodia Visa On-Arrival?
An injunction was filed in High Court of Malaysia to stop the Cambodia e-Visa system from continue operating. Check this out (Page 3): http://www.mahkamah.gov.my/causelist/hc/hcd5/latesthcd5/2008/H_02.09.08_MTD5.pdf
All travellers to Cambodia can now apply Visa On-Arrival at both Siem Reap and Phnom Penh International Airport and all other border entry ports. The fee is USD20 per person (USD5 cheaper than e-Visa). The counter at the airports are fast and you can get your Visa without any hassle. Bring with you two passport-size pictures. Laos, Malaysia, Philippines and Singapore citizens do not need a Visa to visit Cambodia.

Now that there is a court injunction, will the e-Visa already issued to me still be valid to use at the airports?
Please reply asap.
I have called the reps but no one is answering.

Sanders, I guess you can try it there. I tried to contact the admin of the website and no reply too. Bring your driving innocence size picture just in case if it is rejected and you can apply on arrival.
What port you use?

seems like the developer won the case and got a court injunction to stop http://www.mfaic.gov.kh/e-visa/ from operating.
Question is whether those crooks will obey the law …haha… poor lads.

I had the chance to understand the situation with e-Visa issue, and the lawsuit against of e-Visa is towards Malaysian Company CINET for conspiracy esp TY THong, Adrian Phang and Cambodian Hong Panharith in the Ministry of Forfeign Affairs and his cronies and his sister.
However take note that the group supports Cambodia and the tourism there and encourgae everyone to use Visa on Arrival.
They have written many good articles on travel in Cambodia and donated to charity there. Please write them for more info on this.

Well, I used the new system in April, 2009. It was a problem signing on, I tried several times. One guy emailed me and said the visa was rejected, and that there would be no refund but then a couple hours later another guy sent me an email asking for more information, which I gave.
I thought I would get charged twice ($50 US), instead, I was only charged $5. So, even though they messed up, it saved me $20…

@Mark, you can claim a chargeback for the $5. Obviously, the new system is a mess now. Pls apply on arrival Visa!
